Just an introduction

Hey guys so I'm Denise Draven and I love doing makeup. I have my very own YouTube channel (Go check it out and subscribe, my channel name is Denise Draven) and I do makeup on there of course. My love of Halloween and Horror just collides with what I do and it explains why I'm always doing horror makeup all year round. I like to also do just simple beauty makeup as well. I enjoy collecting makeup palettes because I like to have a variety of colors when I do my own makeup, or whenever I do other peoples makeup, they have more to choose from. When I first started doing my makeup in middle school, I wasn't very good of course. I wore this hot pink eye shadow that wasn't blended out out, and black eyeliner. My first makeup was this eye shadow/blush palette that my mom got me from Claire's and I loved it. I watched Youtubers like Michelle Phan and she was my inspiration, I wanted to do makeup on Youtube just like her. But now my makeup skills have greatly improved since then and I'm still learning more and more stuff. I just love makeup because to me it isn't something that just enhances my features or covers imperfections, it's a form of art and it's a way I can express myself. I can change into an entirely different person when I'm putting on makeup. I can make myself look super pretty or something out of a horror movie. It makes me feel powerful and without it I feel weak and small.
